Alessandra joined the IBM Legal Department in 2001,starting her professional development as an inhouselawyer with roles and responsibilities both atItalian and European level. Previously, Alessandrahad gained a few years of professional experience inmajor law firms in Milan.
In 2014 Alessandra moved to Dubai where she heldvarious roles within IBM Middle East and Africa, lastlyas Regional Counsel IBM Middle East, North Africa ePakistan.
In 2017, Alessandra took the role of Head of IBM LegalDepartment of IBM Italy. In 2022 she has led the EMEALitigation Team until February 2023 when she wasappointed as a Trust and Compliance Officer forEurope.
Alessandra is the Executive Sponsor of Women@IBMin Italy where she leads the Italian BRG named“Women Leadership Counsel”.
Since 2019, Alessandra has been the RegionalCoordinator for Lombardia and Liguria ofAssociazione Italiana Giuristi d’Impresa (AIGI) andsince 2022 she has been member of the GeneralBoard of the association. Alessandra graduatedcum laude at the Faculty of Law of the University ofSiena and acquired her LL.M Degree at LondonUniversity College in 1997. In 2006 Alessandra gainedher Master in Business Administration at SDA Bocconiin Milan.

Michele Carpagnano is a partner in Dentons’Rome office and the head of the ItalianCompetition & Antitrust practice, PhD, he holds ateaching position in EU Competition Law atUniversity of Trento. Founder and Co-Director ofTrento Summer School in Advanced EUCompetition Law & Economics, he is also theFounder and Co-Director of the OsservatorioPermanente sull’Applicazione delle Regole diConcorrenza and the Founder and Co-Directorof the Osservatorio Golden Power. As anAttorney he represents national andmultinational companies before the ItalianCompetition Authority as well as the EuropeanCommission and as a legal expert he has beeninvolved in several cases and class actionsbefore domestic courts concerning antitrustinfringements. Michele Carpagnano advised theEuropean Parliament on the introduction of EUlegislation on collective redress. He is author ofthree books on private antitrust enforcementand several articles on competition law issues.

Since 2021, his responsibility hasbeen extended to Southern Europe (11 countries).He is an active member of AIGI and, since 2018,he has also been a member of Aigi SummerSchool Scientific Committee.

Giorgio Martellino is currently the General Counsel and Compliance Officer of Avio, a leading company in the space propulsion, listing on the STAR segment of the Italian Stock Exchange. Thanks to this current experience as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and member of Compliance Committee 231 of Avio, he improved his skills in compliance matters leading projects on anticorruption and risk management. He previously served as as General Counsel, acquired both in foreign Corporate Group (Abbott), Italian multinationals (Natuzzi and Cementir) and Italian Utility (Acquedotto Pugliese Spa). He possesses an in-depth knowledge of Corporate Governance systems (including listed companies). In general, especially during the last years, as Vice Chairman of the Italian In-House Counsel Association (AIGI) and Chairman of Italian Association for Transparency and Anticorruption (AITRA) he had the chance to create a strong network with his peers of other leading companies, both in private and public sectors, and to profitably discuss and convene with them on certain “best practices” in managing some of the most important processes within the Compliance area (also by using IT tools). He has been a speaker and opinion leader on Corporate and Compliance in several forums, congresses and workshops and a professor in those matters in the Master for In House Counsels at LUISS and LUMSA, both Universities based in Rome.

I joined the Q8 Legal Department in 1993 after working for some years in a law firm specialized in criminal company liability. My first experience was working in public administration, during my university studies. I became a manager in the Q8 Legal Department in 2002, and subsequently was appointed as an Antitrust Whistleblowing Compliance Officer. Now I am Head of Legal Risk Management and Integrated Compliance I am a member of working teams in Confindustria and UNEM related to the areas of Company Criminal Liability, Antitrust, Environmental and Health and Safety. I was a part of the “Integrity and Compliance” taskforce in the B20 organization. I am a member of scientific committees in the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and REMTECH and I lecture at the universities of LUISS and “La Sapienza”, among others. I am also the author of different articles and publications on all the topics described above.

I am a legal and compliance counsel with 25 years’ experience in private practice in Italy and abroad. I worked for international law firms and for multinational pharmaceutical/medical device companies. My experience in the pharmaceutical world includes patented drugs, generics, OTC products, vaccines, medical devices and diagnostics. Currently I work for as the Compliance Director for AstraZeneca Italy, a science-led, patient-focused pharmaceutical company, where I also act as the main point of contact for Sustainability.

Annalisa is currently a senior attorney within the global privacy and cbersecurity legal team in IBM, supporting all the geos. After private practice in Rome, she joined IBM Italy in 2003. She is very experienced contract professional in large and complex and international transactions, with particular focus on Financial and Public Sectors. Since 2008 she has been the legal focal point for Data Privacy &cybersecurity legal matters for IBM Italy and the other Italian affiliates of IBM Group. Since 2017 to October 2018 she was the Data Privacy Officer for Italy and CEE countries.

Raimondo Rinaldi is Emeritus President of AIGI, Italian Association of In-House Counsels, and is currently Member of the AIGI Board of Directors. He is Lecturer at the National School of Specialization for Corporate Lawyers held by AIGI in Milan; coordinator of Sustainability and Legality modules and Lecturer at the Master of Business Law at LUISS University in Rome; speaker in seminars and conferences on compliance, sustainability, antitrust and distribution law aspects and author of various publications. After private practice in Rome, he worked for IBM Semea Law Dept (Milan), IBM Europe Law Det (Paris), in Exxon Chemical Europe Law Dept (Brussels). Esso Italiana Law Dept General Counsel from 1997 to 2021 having also the coordination of legal services to ExxonMobil affiliates in the Mediterranean area from 1998 to 2008. AIGI Representative for the Centre and the South of Italy from 2008 to 2012 and AIGI . President from 2013 to 2019.

I have almost thirty years of experience at ExxonMobil, ten of which were spent in various parts of the business and twenty in various roles in Public and Government Affairs. In recent years, I have focused on energy and climate topics, engaging both internally and externally on the critical theme of the energy transition and the role that policies and technology must play to achieve society’s goals. Throughout my career, I have worked in different countries and cultures, productively interacting with a wide range of stakeholders, from industry leaders to policymakers, to discuss ideas and visions for the future. I have led and inspired teams, practiced cross-cultural communication, and encouraged strategic and forward-looking thinking. I am passionate about outdoor sports, technology, and innovation.

Experienced lawyer in corporate, international contracting, with specific focus on innovative areas: ICT, mass-media, new technology, and genetics. Specific competences in the management and protection of patents, trademarks and intellectual property rights, licensing agreements and B2B, B2C agreements, M&A, intercompany agreements, on line trading, 231 law and data protection.
